Annual Mexican Supper
The fire department auxiliary began having the annual Mexican Supper in 1982 at the Kendalia Community Center. This Mexican Supper is still held every first Saturday of November or the first day of hunting season at the fire department location since 1986.
All proceeds from this annual Mexican Supper are used to support the KVFD. It is the only fund-raising event that the KVFD conducts. It is expensive to run the trucks, to have the necessary equipment and to train personnel for the KVFD.
