Curry Creek School was located on the William Brown Edge place on five acre of property donated by William Brown Edge in the early 1890's.
History
The original Curry Creek school was a one room building. It was large enough to accommodate at least 21 student that were in the first school year listing. A water well and hand pump were also located on the property for the students. The Curry Creek School existed for 50 years at this location. With the limited historical information available it is not know if or when the original build was replaced during this 50 years of it's existence.

The records indicate that W.W. Short was the first teacher for the Curry Creek School. The teachers are unknown for the years 1899 - 1906.
