The Annual Kendalia Homecoming

This is the main fund raising event sponsored by the Community Club to provide funds for the maintenance and operational costs of the Community Club building.

• When:
• The event is held the 4th Sunday in June of each year
• For 2017 this will be June 25th
• Food:
• The main course is excellent chicken and sausage Bar-B-Que cooked and flavored on site by experts!
• Other sides include potato salad, coleslaw and beans prepared by expert local cooks.
• Home made desserts (pie, cake, cobbler, cookies and other goodies) are also available for purchase for those with a sweet tooth!
• Raffle:
• Tickets are available in early June and through the day of the event to win items of handwork, art and other donated items.
• Entertainment:
• Live music provided by local musicians is available under the pavilion to enjoy while you eat your Bar-B-Que.
• Auction:
• Donated items from community club members and local organizations are auctioned off after the lunch by a local auctioneer. All proceeds are used to support the community club activities.
• Study Club Table:
• The Neighbors Study Club has a table of homemade items and fresh vegetable available for purchase under the shade trees. All sales are utilized for the Study Group activities.
• Visiting and Remembrances:
• Come early and visit with old friends and relive the events of the past!
• Meet new neighbors and visitors and develop new friendships.
